Dr. Michelle Presson is a mother of 3 children, Sean, Canon, & Savannah and is joined by her husband Dr. A. Shane Presson. Dr. Michelle received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Michelle Presson began her career with Harman Eye Center in Lynchburg, VA. She was instrumental in the primary care and co-management of surgical and glaucoma patients. She also managed to open a successful satellite office while in Lynchburg. In June 2007, Dr. Michelle moved to Knoxville, TN to live closer with her family. She joined Drs. Rhyne & Patton for a year and now successfully manages Karns Vision Center with her husband Dr. A. Shane Presson.

Dr. Michelle enjoys biking, tennis, swimming and keeping up with her boys. She is also an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Karns.
